A portrait of the film maker/ artist Andrew Kötting as a Straw Bear

Andrew Kötting’s film By Our Selves retraces poet John Clare’s journey from Epping Forest to Northamptonshire accompanied by a straw bear.

The film features Iain Sinclair, Alan Moore, Toby and Freddie Jones and a Straw Bear.

Andrew commissioned us to create these portraits of his presence in the film for a touring exhibition. Originally showing at Dilston Grove in 2014 the work visited The House of Last London and Eastbourne’s Towner Gallery in 2017.
