PRESENT VOICES

14>16th March 2025… We took part in a group show curated by Yui Yamamoto (@ugly_society_lover) and Ruby Antonowicz-Behnan (@rubyantonowiczbehnan), @present_voices, which saw a coming together of dynamic, studied performance pieces along side time based media and interactive works. More or less all the work complied for the weekend was the result of partnership.

Conversation, action, game playing, submission and endurance in evidence.

Our contribution was the only digital/ interactive work, a breakout moment in a literal sense, a step away from that which asks for your attention and invites you to momentarily control a part of that which Is on show, you could walk away and leave your mark on the exhibition via our image. Inviting the willing audience to take part in that which is ours to share.

The interaction enabled sliding between point cloud portraits of us and volumetric manipulation of the images. An Akai MIDIMix was made available with just the 9 sliders exposed, each slider enhanced or destroyed our portraits.
