PRESENT VOICES

14 -16th March 2025… We took part in a group show curated by Yui Yamamoto (@ugly_society_lover) and Ruby Antonowicz-Behnan (@rubyantonowiczbehnan), @present_voices, which saw a coming together of dynamic, studied performance pieces along side time based media and interactive works. More or less all the work complied for the weekend was the result of partnerships. Conversation, action, game playing, submission and endurance in evidence.
Our contribution was the only digital, interactive work, a breakout moment in a literal sense, inviting the viewer to momentarily control a part of the exhibition and what was on show. The interaction enabled sliding between two point cloud portraits of us and also volumetric manipulation of the images. An Akai MIDIMix was made available as a controller with just the 9 sliders exposed, each slider enhanced or destroyed our portraits.
